South Start to Plan Season 08/09

With Grafton in the throws of winter sports action such as soccer and hockey, you would think that Cricket would not be on anyone’s mind.

Not so the case for the South Services Cricket Club who are planning their attack on the season 08/09 premierships.

Newly returned president, Jason Thompson, said that it was good to get in and start the planning early, so everything can be on track for the traditional October start.

Thompson went on to say that he was expecting a good showing this year and couldn’t wait to start playing again.

Another bonus for the club this season is the fact that el-presidente has travelled to Orange in the off season and sat for his Level 2 Coaching accreditation. 

Thommo will be coaching the Under 12s this season so they will be in for a treat.

Sign on for Juniors has been set down for the 6th and 13th of September at the Ryan Street nets commencing at 9am.
